Have you given any thought to what you are going to give your love for Valentine's Day? Chocolate? Flowers? A Romantic Dinner? Well, maybe you could take a cue from the King and write a little love song. Of course, in order to be inspired, you will need to pull together your favorite "Rocker Chic" fashion, grab your vintage electric guitar and the rest will be a breeze.

This weekend we were home bound - Olivia had an ear infection and when it is 4 degrees (no, that was not a typo it was 4) there is no hope of getting outside. However, between begging and bribing Olivia to take her "yucky" medicine and watching too many Disney movies, I did manage to find time to sneak in my latest guilty pleasure - Pinterest.
If you are not familiar with Pinterest, it is a social catalogue and visual pin board. A great place to collect images you love and follow other's interests as well. I just love to see what everyone is "pinning". I have to control myself or I would waist an entire day getting sucked into the lovely vortex of eye candy. Once you sign up, just drag the little "pin it" button to your bookmark bar and start pinning.
So that is my little creative tidbit for today - more fun in store for the rest of the week.

I hope you had a lovely weekend. We celebrated my husband's birthday this weekend by closing our dueling laptops to spend time together. We Indulged our senses with a delicious dinner, some live music and a trip to the art museum. It was wonderful!

I have been looking forward to this post all week! Since beginning "Vintage Fashion Friday" last week, I have been pouring over 100's of vintage fashion photographs to feature in today's post.
I am particularly fond of the sixties, mainly in due to my mother's obsession with fashion. She never left the house without false eyelashes, a long flippy fall accented with her favorite Pucci scarf and frosted lipstick.
