About 100 years ago I had one of those "fabulous idea" moments - you know the kind - the world stops spinning, you can't eat, can't sleep, don't cook, don't shower (okay I did shower) can't stop thinking about my "fabulous idea" moments.
The "fabulous idea" was to create a line of stationery and invitations featuring my designs. Since I mainly create custom work, I felt that the time had come to create a semi-custom line which would be a bit more accessable and customizable.
So I dove in head first...
Now, I really thought I could be a mom, work my day job, my design job, work out, do laundry, play Candy Land for the 1000th time AND create this wonderful new website featuring my stationery. Was I insane or what? Um, yes. So, after a self imposed deadline of June 2011 (dreaming) I have since pushed back the launch date to the end of the Summer.
Now my fingers are crossed as I work madly toward this new deadline, and over the next few weeks I will be revealing the new logo design, promo video, gallery and some of the fun stationery which will be available.
One final note: I LOVE DOING THIS!!! You know, follow your bliss, do what you love, patience, persistence and perseverance and all that jazz. So, if you are working towards your "fabulous, can't eat, can't sleep" moment - my advice is to do it!
