I am absolutely thrilled to have Susi from DesignShuffle.com today as my guest blogger. Please enjoy her post about the delicious cool colors of sherbet. Welcome Susi!
I'm Susi and I write as a guest blogger for DesignShuffle.com, a fabulous social media site that promotes interior designers and their work from around the world. My writing focuses on things I'm passionate about: interior design, decorating ideas, home furnishings, gardening, cooking, travel and art. I get to look at gorgeous things all day and write about them. I'm a very lucky girl.
I am happy to visit Renee Rodriguez Designs for a guest post. Like Renee, I love vintage. Vintage clothes, accessories, home dÈcor and furniture fill my home. When Renee suggested a post about the cool colors of sherbet, I immediately thought of those old fashioned Push Up sherbet treats from the ice cream truck. Does anyone remember those? Sherbet colors of lemon, mint, raspberry and orange lend themselves well to mixing and matching in dÈcor and interiors. So inspired by sherbet and a love of vintage, I pulled some pics that show some great combinations of cool sherbet colors in dÈcor and decorating. Hope you enjoy them!

These pastel pics make me think of rainbow sherbet. Love the mix of pale pinks, peaches and rose against cool purples and blues. Even the warm colors have a blue or grey undertone that gives them a cooler feeling.

Cool yellow and raspberry pink create a lively yet cool feeling living room when mixed with loads of white. Minty blue green could be substituted for either the raspberry pink or lemony yellow for another cool sherbet palette. All would make for great living room designs.

Cool tone sherbets mix well together, as seen in this striped pillow from Urban Outfitters.

Cool minty green and lemon sorbet yellow create a fresh gender neutral palette in this nursery. Love the lively mix of colors. In fact, this color scheme would also work well in a grown-up bedroom design.
