I hope you are not rolling your eyes at all my Parisian musings lately - but who can blame me right? I'm bubbling over with excitement and anticipation about our pending trip. Guide books, maps, iPhone aps and most importantly, what am I going to wear, have been consuming every waking hour lately.
There are many places my husband and I plan on visiting and the historical Moulin Rouge is on our "must see" list. More details upon my return...

Please indulge me a bit today as I share a little from our absolutely enchanting experience in the Magic Kingdom.
After standing in line for thirty minutes Olivia was able meet the head mouse and his girl!
At the end of the day Marc and I looked at each other and said: " Wow, we just took our daughter to Disney World"!
And we all lived....

So, here it is, in writing for the world to read, we are going to Paris in September 2011!
Olivia will be seven and we have a little over a year to plan and save for a dreamy week in Paris - maybe I will even learn French!
Of course I imagine myself wearing the fabulous blue dress in the photograph above while posing in front of the Eiffel Tower - wouldn't you?
Here are a few of my favorite Paris blogs where I like to dream a bit...
If there are any blogs that you think that I should ad to my list, please let me know.

Marc, Olivia and I are packing our little overnight bags, piling into the car and heading to Chicago for the weekend. We have made a vow to leave technology behind and reconnect with each other. Our plans include taking Olivia to a few fun places like the Aquarium and the Museum of Natural History and the American Girl Store (a bit frighting for my husband). With a new Nikon camera in tow, I will be experimenting and documenting our family fun and hopefully have something to show next week.
Working full time, starting a new stationery line, blogging, cooking, cleaning, thinking, creating... my brain is on overload! So off to the windy city to clear out the clutter. I'm sure I will be missing my laptop and visiting my favorite blogs, but every once in a while you just need to shut it all down. I will try not to check my email and FB on my iPhone either - is it possible? I will let you know on Monday if I had any success.
What are your plans for the weekend? What ever you decide to do, take a couple of hours to step away from technology, turn off your phone, TV and computer, and maybe make some homemade cupcakes, lick the bowl and then eat as many as you like.
