I needed a bit of inspiration for my first blog post, so my husband and I set out on a little fall excursion. Hot coffee in hand, fashionable fall attire (I couldn’t wait to wear my new boots) and blessed with an amazing autumn day.
We headed south along enchanted tree lined country roads, passing dozens and dozens of jolly pumpkin patches, and ooohed and aaahed over the spectacle of color. Overhanging trees of crimson, orange, bright yellow and olive green canopied the narrow roads. Their magnificent branches held up the clear blue sky as we made our way to the quaint town of Manchester, MI.
Every business on Main Street had dressed up for the season. Festoons of orange and black decorations embellished doorways and windows of boutiques, cafes and antique stores. Witches, black cats, haunted houses, ghosts and ghouls seemed to be tucked into every nook and cranny of this bewitched little town, waiting in anticipation for Halloween.
What is it about Halloween? There is so much planning and creativity that goes into this one bewitching night. Well, what ever it may be, I invite you set loose your inhibitions, be inspired, create, and maybe even become a little Bewitched.
Enjoy!
