Last night I was suffering from a bit of insomnia, so of course, without question, I opened my laptop and was immediately sucked into the swirling vortex of Facebook.
Anyway, I stumbled upon a design contest for a company call "Dotmine". They are looking for a new cover design for their very fabulous planners and have opened up the contest to anyone & everyone!
The company was formed in 1999 by two very chic & lovely ladies, Lisa & Sarah, who wanted to create the perfect day planner; something that would help organize and balance family life and be fun and stylish as well. Brilliant! Sign me up! The company has had amazing success and can be found in Borders across the country. You must, must, must visit their very fabulous & fun website!
Now, for those of you who like to make lists, doodle or just need some place other than your iPhone to hold all things sacred, this is the planner for you - trust me, I have one!
The rules stated that you could submit up to five designs, so I decided on two different looks. My first entry is the fabulous little "mod girl" in her stylish white boots - I would buy this in a heartbeat - would you? (say yes)
The second entry is a little on the softer side - a pink vintage typewriter, I added the company name, "time.mine", on the typing paper (cute, don't you think) and by 2:00 am I uploaded it to Facebook. Then I happily drifted upstairs and snuggled next to Marc and fell fast asleep.
