{snowed in}

The big winter storm hit last night and today we are snowed in. Homemade chicken soup is bubbling on my stove as I sit at my desk staring out at the carpet of twinkling white snow. I have to admit it is beautiful, but I am in need of color and sunshine - so I decided to search for something filled with color and the promise of spring. I think I succeeded.
