some find mondays to be a day filled with possibilities
others get the blues
if you find yourself the later
why not shake things up a bit
and make monday the most beautiful day of your week

I often wonder why my eye seems to be drawn to certain colors -hot pink, light pink, blush, chocolate, mint, lavender and pale blue. No matter how hard I try to depart from my usual repertoire of color, my eyes just seem ignore me and drift back to these beautiful colors.
My latest color crush is the dreamy combination of gold and lavender.
I'm very interested in hearing about your color repertoire, post a comment and let me know.
Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely day.

What a wonderful weekend! The sun was shining, my tulips & crocuses are starting push their way through the semi frozen earth, and I actually heard birds singing! Spring is trying very, very hard to make it's way to Michigan.
Olivia had her first sleepover, so Marc and I had time together without calculating how much we would owe the babysitter. Shopping, cocktails and dinner, it was like heaven!
I spent a great deal of time this weekend assembling custom invitations and working on my new website. The little phone above is part of a series of cute note cards that you will be able to order from the site. I can't wait to give you a little glimpse! In the meantime, I wish you a happy, happy Monday!

Friday, March 18th, I will be joining an ever growing list of bloggers who are participating in "Bloggers Day of Silence" banding together to help raise funds for the devastation in Japan. You can help too, just click on the image above and it will take you to the main website to make a donation. Please help me spread the message by tweeting, posting to FB and re-blogging this all too important message.
Also, a big thank you the ladies at Utterly Engaged & Ever Ours for organizing this amazing project!
We CAN make a difference!
Thank you!

I am SO ready for Spring, and what better way to hurry it along than with beautiful tulips. Yesterday, I decided that my hard working (and messy) desk was in need of a little pick-me-up. So, I sorted, cleared and cleaned - amazing what one can uncover when cleaning.
Afterwards, I transplanted a few beautiful white tulips with the hope that it would speed up the seasonal process here in the Midwest.
Ahhhh.... I already feel inspired!
Have a beautiful day!

Yesterday, the entire family headed over to the local Petco to "just look" and "maybe" adopt a kitty. Well, as you can see we did look and we did adopt -two kitties. Gracie is 5 months old and Jax is 7 months old (they were actually named Vinnie & Viola, which didn't really suite them)
They were found together - abandoned - so the sappy Mueller family just couldn't separate the lovable pair. Armed with two kitties, pet food, beds, litter boxes, toys, bowls & treats we made our way home.
Gracie is very tiny & cuddly. Jax spent the entire day under our bed, hopefully this will pass soon.
Two years ago we had to put our family cat of 16 years, Luna, to sleep. It was a devastating ordeal that I can't think about without getting teary eyed. Of course I swore that I could never have another cat, but I broke down and now we have two new additions to our home. Go figure!
Now, if I can just keep them from shredding the new leather couch.
