I know I usually post my "eye on glamour" every Monday, but today is a bit like a Monday since we had a long weekend. So, with that said, I must start the mini-week off with a daily dose of glam or it wouldn't  seem right - right?

My long weekend was wonderful! Grilled out, yummy summer cocktails, yummier desserts and hung out with family and friends. Read, cleaned out my office closet (scary) helped Marc build Olivia's new playhouse (even scarier). Also worked on the design of my new invitation and stationery website (sneak peak this month).

I'm so excited I could just scream!

Last year the lovely ladies of the oh-so-popular Dotmine Planners approached me to design a cover for one of their new planners AND to illustrate the stickers which would be inserted into the back of each and everyone. I can't begin to describe how much fun I had working with Lisa and Sarah on this incredible project. 

Now, in order to celebrate it's June release, the ladies have graciously agreed to let me host a giveaway for this beautiful planner.  The cover is made of a gorgeous buttery leather and vintage damask art on the inside.  A perfect place to plot and plan your life and stay organized.

What can be more fun than meeting your favorite girlfriends for lunch? A trendy little restaurant, where you can munch on an overpriced salad, sip a lovely little cocktail (or two) and share a very delicious dessert!

Talk about everything, laugh and tell each other how fabulous and young we look. Admire each others shoes and then solve the problems of the world. After lunch, and freshly applied lip gloss, spend the rest of the afternoon together on a mission to find amazing sales!

My entire family lives for desserts - anything from decadent chocolate cakes to a scoop of Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey. So when I stumbled across "Desserts for Breakfast" I felt that I had died and gone to a sugary heaven.

Vintage Fashion Friday ~ Paris 1960

The weekend is close, the sun is shining (sort of ) and I have lofty goals on my "to do" list. My husband is out of town on business, so I want to surprise him by painting our dining room. I have had the paint for about 6 months and just thinking about it makes me want to take a nap. But, I'm going to do it - really! My hope is that by making this grand announcement, I am now accountable. 

Of course, I would much rather be enjoying a weekend in Paris like the lovely ladies below - soon...
